Indiana Donation Alliance Formalizes

The Indiana Donation Alliance (IDA), a cooperating group of procurement agencies, recently reorganized

to more effectively serve the citizens of Indiana. This valuable association has been restructured as the Indiana Donation Alliance Foundation (IDAF). IDAF is now a not-for-profit organization recognized by the State of Indiana.

IDAF's mission remains the same: to promote education regarding eye, organ and tissue donation through collaboration. The current IDAF members are Indiana Lions Eye Bank, Indiana Organ Procurement Or-ganization, St. Joseph Tissue Bank, and Central States American Red Cross Tissue Services. All of these agencies are original members of the IDA.

The newly elected IDAF officers include PresidentRonald J. Blanchett, Executive Director, Indiana Lions Eye Bank; and TreasurerBryan Hayes, Business Partner, St. Joseph Tissue Bank.
